Santa Cruz Sentinel: Mount Madonna Wins Tournament

Santa Cruz Sentinel, 9/30/2018, “Local Roundup: Mount Madonna wins tournament.”

Mount Madonna defeated University Prep Academy 25-22, 25-18 in the final to win the Mount Madonna School Invitational Girls Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.

Paola Jacobs totaled 24 digs and 46 kills, hitting .319 for the tournament, while Mara Peruzzi had 43 digs and 34 kills, hitting .333 for the tournament. Savannah Cambell combined for 19 digs and 97 assists, Tabby Hardin Zollo had 11 digs and seven aces, and AnMei Dasbach-Prisk had 21 digs.

Other teams at the tournament included Monterey, Watsonville, St. Thomas More, Pajaro Valley, St. Francis, PCS and Alisal.
