Mount Madonna School recognizes the need for peace and the importance of non-violence in our world. Since 1981, each year on September, 21, the United Nations (UN) reaffirms its commitment to world peace. It is an opportunity to call for a ceasefire in all active conflict zones, recognize victims of war, and focus on the building blocks of peace and this year’s UN theme is “END RACISM. BUILD PEACE.”
To raise awareness and mobilize our youth to work toward ending racism, Mount Madonna School invites you to participate in our inaugural commemoration of the International Day of Peace.
