Welcome to Mount Madonna School’s admissions process. Scheduling a tour is the first step in the admissions process. Attending a tour is a great way to experience our unique learning environment, learn about the school’s academic program, get your individual questions answered, as well as meet faculty and administrators and see our program in action.
2a. Gather Documentation: Preschool - 2nd
Documentation for Admissions Application:
Before you begin your admissions application, please consider gathering the following documents:
- Student’s birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Recent student photo
- Report card, if applicable
- Confidential teacher assessment using the online forms linked below. The form will send a notification to teachers you select to make the assessment, as well as serve as your consent to release this assessment to MMS. Please identify teachers who can complete a confidential assessment for your student.

Mount Madonna School’s commitment to economic justice includes our Flexible Tuition model providing financial assistance and scholarships to support an economically diverse student body using a third-party service called FACTS. For early verification, FACTS will require your two most recent tax returns and two most recent W2s if tax returns are not available. If you are considering financial assistance, please begin gathering the following documents:
- Income Tax returns (two most recent)
- W2 (current and previous year)
- Records of untaxed income (either parents’ or student’s)
- Records of your assets (checking/savings accounts, investments in stocks, bonds, real estate)
- Profit and loss statement if self-employed
- Debts

- Grades 6 to 8 – two confidential teacher assessments
- One confidential assessment from the current language arts teacher
- One confidential assessment from the current math teacher
- Grades 9 to 11 – three confidential teacher assessments
- One confidential assessment from the current language arts teacher
- One confidential assessment from the current math teacher
- One confidential assessment from the teacher of choice

3. Apply for Admission & Flexible Tuition
Applying for Admission to Mount Madonna School
Thank you for your interest in Mount Madonna School. The Application for Admissions is submitted online through our registration portal. We are currently accepting applications for transfer during the 2024-25 school year, as well as for new enrollment for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year.
You will be prompted to create a user account before getting started. Please use one account only per family. You may apply for multiple students using a single account.

Applying for Flexible Tuition
Mount Madonna School’s commitment to economic justice includes our Flexible Tuition model providing financial assistance and scholarships to support an economically diverse student body.
Flexible Tuition applications are administered through FACTS Management. Flexible Tuition applications for the 2025-26 school year will open in December 2024. Flexible Tuition applications are currently open for the current 2024-25 school year.

Mount Madonna School’s open admission and financial assistance policies do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual preference, ethnic origin, disability, marital status, religion, creed or similar factors. This policy applies to all areas of student concerns: admissions, athletics, educational policies, financial assistance, and other school administered programs. Mount Madonna School is committed to maintaining economic diversity within our community of families. We allocate financial grants from our operating budget, the Bernice Arnold Scholarship Endowment and special donations designated for financial assistance. Grants are based on each family’s economic need, which is assessed independently through the School and FACTS.
4. Student Shadow Day & Interview
Upon receiving your completed application and confidential teacher assessments, the admission team will invite you to schedule a time for your child to spend the day with us shadowing their peers. During the shadow day, to get to know your child, teachers and division directors will have a conversation about your child’s interest in attending Mount Madonna School and how the school can support their educational journey.
5. Notification
Notification regarding Admissions
The Admissions Team will review all applicant information. You will then receive a written notification letting you know the team’s decision.
Notification regarding Financial Assistance
The Financial Assistance Team meets separately from the Admissions Team to grant financial assistance awards. Families will be notified in writing via email of the financial assistance award. Families have up to 10 business days to accept or decline the award offer.
6. Registration
We sincerely hope your family will accept our invitation and join our extraordinary teaching and learning community. In the notification letter that your family received, there is a registration link that is personalized to your child. Please complete the registration using the provided link.
7. Enrollment Contract
Once a family accepts admission to Mount Madonna School, an enrollment contract will be emailed to families. To officially enroll, admitted families must submit their signed enrollment agreements and the enrollment deposit.
