Mount Madonna School (MMS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Brinton to its Board of Directors. Donna brings a wealth of leadership experience, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to community and education to her new role.
As the Senior Director Business Program Lead at Driscoll’s, Donna has built a distinguished career leading cross-functional initiatives, driving operational excellence, and fostering innovation across global teams. Her professional background in finance, business strategy, and program management has been defined by a passion for creating inclusive environments where collaboration and continuous improvement thrive.
“Donna’s expertise in strategic planning, finance and operational leadership, combined with her thoughtful and values-driven approach, will be a tremendous asset to the board,” said Ann Goewert, Head of School. “We are thrilled to welcome her and deeply appreciate her commitment to supporting the long-term sustainability and mission of Mount Madonna School.”
Donna shared, “Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to empowering others and delivering impactful results. She hopes to bring these values to her work on the school board.”
Beyond her corporate work, Donna is a dedicated advocate for education, community engagement, and inclusivity. She believes in the transformative power of learning and is excited to contribute her expertise to support the school’s long-term vision and mission of fostering academic excellence, creative self-expression, and positive character development.
Donna and her husband, Andrew, joined the Mount Madonna School community in the 2020/2021 school year when their three children started at Mount Madonna. They immediately felt a strong connection to the school and the surrounding community. Both Donna and Andrew have been active volunteers at the school and Andrew joined as a member of the staff in the 2024/2025 school year.
Donna holds a degree in Corporate Financial Management, and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, mentoring, volunteering, reading, and being outside. She lives in Gilroy and is proud to serve the local community through her board service.
