 What inspires you?

The people and places around me

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?

Science, because it’s hands on and fun

If you had the power to change on thing in the world, what would it be?

I would want to have clean energy and a source to store solar energy, so we could stop burning fossil fuels which leads to more climate change and acidified oceans.

If you could anywhere, where would you go, and why?

I would like to go to Australia to see the Great Barrier Reef and the various habitats there.

Name one big challenge in your life right now:

Deciding on a college

What is your dream job and why?

To become a marine biologist, because I’ve always wanted to work with and study animals while in nature.

What are your three favorite things?

I love my friends and family, volleyball and the ocean.

Favorite book:

“The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas is a favorite. It teaches important lessons like the impact of racism on teenagers, while keeping the reader very intrigued.

What do you want to do after high school?

I want to go college to study marine biology and play volleyball.

Something that you are proud of – and why:

I’m proud of getting into all of the colleges I’ve heard back from, because it shows how hard I’ve worked inside and outside of school.

A favorite MMS memory – and why:

There are too many to really decide, but having staff class in elementary is one of my favorites. PD [Premdas Rohan] made it so much fun and I constantly had a smile on my face the whole time. It was also just so exciting because we were preparing for “Ramayana!”
