“Convergence” a book by MMS alumni parent Sally-Christine Rodgers

Imagine sailing 3,000 nautical miles in fifteen days on a new, untested boat with an experimental rig. Imagine having four-year old twins and a nine-year-old aboard. This beautifully photographed and often poetic travel adventure brings to life the people and landscapes of the South Seas while highlighting the humor and challenges of family cruising.

Congratulations to alumni parent Sally-Christine Rodgers on the recent publication of her book, “Convergence – A Voyage Through French Polynesia.”

The book is only available at WestMarine.com and proceeds will be donated to marine conservation.

“…Rodgers splendid presentation and down to earth style (with frequent homage to her seafaring father) ranks this as one of the best cruising books we’ve ever seen…Every spread in Convergence comes alive with excellent photography. If we had to be stuck on a desert island with only one book to read, this would be an excellent choice.” – a recent review in Latitude 38 magazine
