Santa Cruz County Clerk Talks with Juniors and Seniors

Santa Cruz County Clerk Gail Pellerin met with high school students last week. Her visit was part of Voter Education Week, devoted to reaching out to high schoolers with information about local elections processes and voting.  In California, youth ages 16 and 17 can actually preregister to vote and several MMS students took advantage of this opportunity.

Following her visit, Pellerin posted the following message on Facebook:

“I had the honor of speaking to 11th and 12th graders at Mount Madonna School today. Our future is in good hands!! Thank you to their teacher Tiffany Wayne for inviting me to come speak about voter registration, voting, and serving in the polls.”

Thank you, Gail Pellerin, for sharing your knowledge and experience with our students!
