Nonetheless, in 2016 they put together enough runners to score as a team for the first time at the SCCAL championships, even if they did finish eighth.
Mount Madonna is currently in the middle of a pilot program to add yoga to their official curriculum and second-year coach Nick Cabassa is already trying to figure out how to integrate it with the cross country program.
